<b>Position Summary</b> <br> <br>T<strong>he Sales Account Manager develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for supporting and developing customer relationships while utilizing your understanding and experience to execute business objectives and growing revenue for the site. This role is a direct report to the Site Sales Director.</strong><br><br>Responsibilities<br><ul><li>Own sales to assigned customers through the formulation and execution for strategies and plans that capitalize on the customer's strengths as supplemented by products and services</li><li>Build customer relationships with the assigned customers and develop these relationships in multiple levels of the organization</li><li>Support the assigned customers in sales activities and provide assistance to the customers in identifying new opportunities-maintaining SFDC accuracy of funnel and customer data.</li><li>Responsible for meeting sales and margin targets</li><li>Negotiate contracts as required</li><li>Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base</li><li>Work with marketing and product line to develop project specific sales strategies for assigned customers</li><li>Make recommendations for continued growth</li><li>Provide technical expertise in selecting, implementing, and developing competitive product applications and solutions</li><li>Provide training and technical trouble-shooting as needed</li><li>Make customer calls and presentations and participate in bid meetings and walk-through meetings with the customer as necessary</li><li>Assess competitive system performance and find opportunities for our product solutions</li><li>Team Player: Engaged in High Performance Team(s), backup teammates as necessary, participates in On-Call Activities.</li><li>Minimum 30% travel required to key accounts for sales, troubleshooting, training and issue resolution.</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor's degree and 4 years experience in sales.</li></ul><strong>Preferred: </strong><br><ul><li>At least 5 years of experience in sales</li></ul><br>Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
