Right at Home Central Michigan is seeking a reliable Per Diem After-Hours On-Call Coordinator to provide evening and weekend support to our caregivers and clients. This is a remote role with a weekly rotational schedule you MUST be based in Michigan to apply—perfect for someone with home care scheduling or customer service experience who wants meaningful, flexible work.

Schedule:

  • Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Monday through Thursday)


  • Weekends:
    5:00 PM Friday – 8:00 AM Monday (every other weekend)


  • Holidays:
    Rotating on-call coverage

Coordinators are assigned on a weekly rotation and are paid per day during their scheduled week. The weekday rate is consistent, and the weekend rate is slightly higher.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist with after-hours scheduling or urgent client/caregiver concerns

  • Assist in scheduling upcoming open shifts

  • Manage urgent scheduling needs and coordinate immediate shift coverage

  • Document all calls accurately and escalate any critical issues as needed

  • Use scheduling software and communication tools remotely

  • Take occasional inbound sales inquiries

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in home care scheduling, on call home care experience

  • Clear and confident communication skills

  • Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work independently

  • Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable working remotely

  • Experience with WellSky is a plus!!
